“Visiting the Simply Cups show was great for us,” says Malcolm Waugh, CEO of Frugalpac, “it meant that we could catch up with the industry face-to-face and let them know what’s really going on with Frugal Cup.”

Frugalpac’s lead product, the Frugal Cup, will come to market in the UK at the end of January 2019. Its unique construction, using recycled paperboard, and a food-safe PE liner, enables it to be recycled completely in a standard process in just eight minutes.

“Frugal Cup’s had a lot of coverage in the past,” says Malcolm Waugh, “and like many revolutionary innovations, has suffered delays in production. I’m really pleased with our new production facility in Wrexham and am delighted that we’re finally in a position to be taking orders.”
