Introducing Frugalpac’s new Head of Sales & Marketing

Paul McReynolds joins our talented team this week, bringing over 20 years’ experience and a genuine passion for sustainable packaging alternatives with him.

McReynolds has been appointed as Head of Sales & Marketing to further drive the company’s expansion and sales of the Frugal Cup to outlets across the UK, as the only truly sustainable alternative to disposable cups.

Having headed up category management for NNZ Packaging and ESP, McReynolds has been at the forefront of new product development of environmentally friendly packaging, implementing several new concepts through to fruition including helping one of the UK’s largest major retailers to win a national corporate social responsibility award. He hopes to bring fresh ideas to the business strategy, which will enable the team to demonstrate the benefits of stocking the Frugal Cup to key decision makers across the country.

Mr. McReynolds commented:

“I am thrilled to be joining Frugalpac at such a crucial time, when production of the Frugal Cup is in full swing and the UK is opening its eyes to more sustainable alternatives. Having spent considerable time developing pulp and moulded fibre packaging and being passionate about more recyclable alternatives, the Frugal Cup is very close to my heart. I am confident that Frugalpac’s ethos fits entirely with my own principles.”

“It is a fantastic opportunity to join such an innovative brand and I am keen introduce new approaches to the business to support its exciting development, both short and long term. We will be exploring potential new markets for the Frugal Cup with a strategic approach as we encourage more outlets to #getFrugal!”

Malcolm Waugh, CEO of Frugalpac, added:

“We’re pleased to welcome Paul to the team and are looking forward to seeing the fresh ideas he brings to the business. We are proud of our unique vision as a company, and we remain committed to developing products which allow us tap into the growth in demand for outlets to do more to support an environmentally-sustainable economy and creating new, innovative and recyclable packaging like the Frugal Cup.”

The full range is now available to buy online, including four branded Frugal Cup designs and the new Frugal Lid, a pulp molded paper lid which utilises dry-in-place technology and sustainable wood fibre to achieve a consistent, high-quality pressed paper lid.
